Maternity shoot with Shannon

This was such a fun shoot for me. Shannon and I played basketball together in high school and have sort of lost touch since. But we got back in touch and I was able to take her maternity pictures! Doesn't she have the most beautiful eyes??

And one more for good measure...

I love that she is such a beach bum!

We got to spend the weekend down in California with Donny's family so I just had to sieze the opportunity to take some pictures of my adorable nephew Jordan. He has the best blue eyes ever and always has them wide open! I will be posting MANY more of the weekend both here and our family blog in the next week or so, but I am in the middle of another editing project so it may be a few days. But I just had to sneak a few of Jordan in!

I got to meet up with these 3 downtown and they did great! The boys were troopers and did everything I asked them to do without complaining; it was amazing!

I had the great honor and pleasure of shooting second with my friend Mindy at a beautiful wedding this past weekend. It was such a great learning experience for me and I definitely want to pursue more wedding photography. And I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful couple! I had fun watching Mindy scamper discreetly around the ceremony working her magic. I am so appreciative of this opportunity!
